how do I know God is real

How do I know God is Real?

I have heard some say, “How do I know God is real?He has never made himself known to me.I have not seen any strong evidence of Him acting in my world.”God makes himself known in a variety of ways. Most people who say this mean that they haven’t had some dramatic experience or direct divine encounter, like an angel appearing before them or a dramatic healing or something.

But God’s Word does tell us that He is real and that He has done a number of things to make Himself known, such as:

a.Creation.

Rom. 1For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

b.Human Body.

Ps. 13913 For you formed my inward parts;  you knitted me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

c.Bible.

2 Tim. 316 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness

d.Jesus.

Jn. 1030 I and the Father are one.”

Jn. 14Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

e.Changed lives.

Jn. 9He answered, “Whether he is a sinner I do not know. One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.”

f.Circumstances.

A man calls 911 emergency: Come immediately, my little son has swallowed a condom! After five minutes, the same man calls back: It is ok, I found another one.

g.Ultimately it requires faith, and God will bless your faith.

John 20 24 Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

26 Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” 28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

1 Peter 1:18Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,
